Workshop & Drinks Reception: Wednesday, 30 November 2022, central London

Facing unprecedented global changes, the UK Government’s recent call for evidence on Resilience Strategy concluded that everyone has a part to play in improving resilience, and called for a ‘whole society’ approach.

In light of this, Resilience First and our Champion member PA Consulting, in collaboration with the Cabinet Office, will be holding a briefing and workshop that pulls together experts from across government, communities, academia and businesses. This event aims to provide a briefing on the UK Government’s approach to national resilience, and facilitate a cross-sector discussion on the capabilities required to achieve ‘whole society’ resilience. Following the workshop we will produce a written ‘blueprint’ on how this could be accomplished.

There will be a keynote address from Mary Jones, Resilience Director, Cabinet Office.
