A Resilience First dinner with James Heath, CEO, National Infrastructure Commission

Kindly hosted by Pinsent Masons

Investing in resilient infrastructure has the potential to generate long-term benefits for society in terms of inclusive economic growth, improvements to wellbeing as well as helping to accelerate key national policy priorities such as achieving climate adaptation and net zero targets, building more equitable access and protecting biodiversity.

However, delivering this effectively is an enormous challenge. From varying government policy priorities to regulatory pressures, to short term financial reporting periods and of course moments of strong local community opposition, can all result in project delays, cost overruns and even cancellations of the required investment needed to deliver resilient infrastructure.

Set against this backdrop, Resilience First is delighted to welcome James Heath, CEO of the National Infrastructure Commission to a dinner discussion with our members on latest thinking from the Commission on ways of incentivising resilience and encouraging the required action to ensure our infrastructure is ready for the challenges to come.

This dinner is by invitation only.

This event is now fully booked.
