Join us for the first of our resilience innovation showcases focused on uncovering AI for Organisational Resilience on Monday 28 April, from 13:30 to 14:30. Whether you are new to AI or already harnessing its potential, we will give a demonstration of a recently developed AI-backed resilience tool, followed by a discussion on how AI can enhance resilience.

We are delighted to be joined by Dennis Flynn OBE, a crisis management expert whose latest research and product development focus on the application of AI to enable organisations to overcome shocks, volatility and crises.

Dennis Flynn OBE

CEO, Ardenna

Dennis Flynn is a crisis management expert with a career spanning military, private, and public sectors. He founded a crisis consulting firm, has advised multinational organisations, led major government crisis initiatives and, in an unexpected career twist, between 2021-2024 was chief executive of a not-for-profit delivering wildlife conservation programmes in the UK and Africa. Dennis is a Senior Research Fellow at the UCL Centre for Sustainable Business in London, holds an MSc in Applied Psychology, and was awarded the OBE for distinguished leadership on military operations. He is the founder and CEO at Ardenna, a specialist firm focused on the application of AI to empower organisations and communities to achieve optimal resilience.


Theo Bachrach

Head of Business Engagement, Programmes and Strategic Partnerships, Resilience First

Theo Bachrach previously worked as a Campaign Manager at Resilience Rising. Prior to this he worked for the Resilience Shift. He has a background in campaigns and coalition building where he has worked at the national and sub-national level across Europe, North America and Africa within the private and public sector. In 2021 he was seconded from the Resilience Shift to the UN Climate Champions team to coordinate the Race to Resilience campaign and establish the Resilience Hub at COP26, the first-time resilience has had a permanent home at a COP.
