Hybrid event: 16 November 9:00–10:00 EET, COP27, LGMA Pavilion, Blue Zone

Following the launch of the Summary for Urban Policymakers (SUP) reports on 11th November, we will be releasing a stand-alone Action Agenda during this in-person and virtual event at COP27.

Capturing the key findings from the SUP volumes, Action Agenda goes beyond the SUP Series and the foundational IPCC reports, to include inputs from city and business leaders gathered through a series of regional convenings. This is written from the perspective of city and business leaders and organisations that represent them, with the goal of establishing a long-term platform to co-create and scale urban solutions based in science.

During the event, you will hear invaluable insights from the following speakers:

  • Andy Deacon, Director, Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy
  • Amanda Eichel, Advisor, Resilience Rising
  • Debra Roberts, Co-Chair IPCC AR6 WG II, CLA SUP
  • Seth Schultz, Lead Author, IPCC Special Report on 1.5, CEO, Resilience Rising

  • Vera Rodenhoff, Head of Division, German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action

  • Anna Reynolds, Mayor of Hobart, Australia
  • Mohamed Sefiani, Mayor of Chefchaouen, Morocco

  • Emily Ojoo-Massawa, Climate Resilience Lead Africa, Mott Macdonald (Resilience First’s Champion member)
