Resilience First is delighted to host a virtual Geopolitical Masterclass with Dr Jamie Shea CMG, NATO’s former Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, on Thursday 24 April from 13:00 to 14:00 BST. Jamie will share his insights into the global security and resilience landscape following the first 100 days of the Trump administration.

We will discuss:

About Dr Jamie Shea CMG

Dr Jamie Shea is a Senior Fellow responsible for security and defence programmes at Friends of Europe and a Senior Advisor with the European Policy Centre, two of the most active and influential policy think tanks in Brussels. He was an international public servant and a member of the International Staff of NATO for 38 years. His last NATO post was Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges.

Jamie serves as Secretary General of the Global Military Advisory Council on Climate Change (GMACCC) and is an Associate Fellow of the International Security Programme at Chatham House, United Kingdom. He is also a member of the Senior Mentors group, advising the NATO Special Operations Forces Headquarters at SHAPE, Belgium. Jamie was awarded a CMG in the New Year’s Honours list 2020.
