Wednesday 4 June, 08:30-14:30, central London

We are delighted to be holding an exclusive half-day in-person event on Geopolitical Resilience, in collaboration with PwC.

To culminate the Geostrategic Resilience programme curated by Resilience First and PwC, we will bring together senior resilience, business continuity, strategy and risk practitioners from across different sectors to reflect on the current collision of geopolitics and business operations, providing insight to attendees on how to build resilience to the turbulent geopolitical environment and demonstrate innovation and best practices that can support resilience functions and strategies within organisations.

Event details:

  • Date: Wednesday, 4 June 2025
  • Location: Embankment Place, London
  • Time: 08:30-14:30 (registration from 08:30, lunch and networking 13:00-14:30)

Event overview:

The geopolitical landscape is being re-shaped at a pace we have not seen for decades; geopolitical shockwaves are regularly being sent around the world. We are faced with conflicts, new and potentially perilous international alliances, flashpoints in regions crucial to global stability, and the looming threat of tariffs and trade wars. How can businesses anticipate and mitigate these risks effectively?

Participants can gain insights from:

  • Stress-test their resilience decision making in a geopolitical scenario exercise
  • Expert perspectives on the intersection between geopolitics and business and how it is affecting the global economy and fragmenting business environments.
  • Lessons learnt from across sectors on the current geopolitical environment on their resilience operations and resilience strategies
  • Insights on practical measures companies can take to build their resilience capabilities and place resilience into strategy and decision making across an organisation
  • Network and share ideas directly with peers throughout the event, including at a complimentary lunch served for attendees.
