Resilience First is pleased to present this important webinar, in partnership with the Fire Protection Association.
The Grenfell Tower Inquiry was created to examine the circumstances leading up to and surrounding the fire at Grenfell Tower on the night of 14 June 2017. Changes to building regulations have already come into force following the tragedy. However, it is important to explore further the ramifications for the built environment, including sector reputational damage, to address and ensure ongoing improvements and safeguards are in place to progress standards of security and safety in buildings.
This session will allow our joint members to consider what else the sector could do to advance resilience best practice and standards across the industry and the communities they operate in.
Chair:
Su Butcher, Director of Communications Consultancy, Just Practising Limited, IET Fire & Building Safety Group Member, working with the IET Built Environment Panel
Speakers:
Dame Judith Hackitt, DBE, FREng, FIChemE, FCGI, Chair, Make UK and former Chair, UK HSE
