Dinner: Thursday 21 July 2022, 7pm for 7.30pm to 9.30pm BST

Resilience First, in partnership with HSBC, is delighted to host a private roundtable dinner with HSBC UK’s CEO, Ian Stuart.  At the dinner, Ian will reflect on the resilient leadership skills he relied upon to lead the bank, its employees and customers during the COVID pandemic. The event will be a keystone in the publication of the first chapter around the theme of People as part of Resilient First’s new dynamic guidance on operational resilience, learning from the pandemic. Ian Stuart’s description of the HSBC experience will aid readers understanding of the valuable learnings, theories of change and insights that businesses adopted to ensure their survival and success during the pandemic.

Operational resilience is the ability of an organisation to adapt rapidly to changing environments. Businesses were severely challenged by the volatile, uncertain and complex nature of the pandemic.  Starting with HSBC, Resilience First will be working closely with experts across our membership in the coming year to compile guidance that will share best practice used to enhance business operational resilience. The guidance will be based on learnings around people, place, preparation and process and will evaluate the role of techniques and tools, such as Resilience First’s ground-breaking Self-assessment Tool.

This private Champions dinner is by invitation only.
