Resilience First autumn briefing and reception with Lieutenant General (Retd) Richard E Nugee CB CVO CBE, Climate Change and Sustainability Non Executive Director, MoD and Chair, NAAFI

Resilience First is pleased to invite its members to our autumn reception and fireside chat with Lieutenant General (Retd) Richard E Nugee CB CVO CBE, Climate Change and Sustainability Non Executive Director, MoD and Chair, NAAFI, where we will focus our conversation on steering boards towards greater climate resilience action.

As business leaders embrace the challenging task of choice when it comes to tackling the varied and unprecedented permacrisis or polycrisis we continue to face, how can we keep senior leadership teams’ focus on the urgent need to remain on top of the challenges presented by climate change?

Richard, in conversation with Dr Ruth Boumphrey, Chief Executive Officer, Lloyds Register Foundation, will share key insights on ways of achieving this through his personal experience of leading the Ministry of Defence’s Climate Change and Sustainability Strategic Approach.

The evening will also offer our members the opportunity to meet and network with their fellow practitioners.

Kindly hosted by KPMG.
