Speakers:
Hosted by Professor Abhishek Agarwal, Associate Professor in Strategy and MBA Programme Leader at the Business School, he will introduce Martyn Link, Executive Director, Resilience First. Martyn is an experienced strategic leader, passionate about enabling organisations prepare for, and adapt to, the biggest challenges of our time. Prior to this Martyn spent 11 years at the global engineering giant Wood Plc, where he was responsible for corporate strategy, organisational design and leading the pivot towards the energy transition. A scientist by training, Martyn has two degrees from Edinburgh University. He started his career at Wood Mackenzie where he focused on corporate strategy and competitive intelligence. Martyn subsequently helped shape the investment portfolio of an innovation fund before joining Wood.

Nathalie Agnew – Founder and Managing Director of Muckle Media, formed in March 2012. A former Fleishman-Hillard and Porter Novelli senior international PR advisor.
Nathalie has significant experience in the whisky sector, having supported Gordon & MacPhail for five years across their suite of brands. Nathalie has led her team to win numerous awards in recent years, the most notable being the PRCA DARE Medium Agency of the Year award in 2019, CIPR Scotland PRide Outstanding PR Consultancy award in 2018 and the Consumer Relations award two years in a row, in 2017 and 2018.
Nathalie specialises in working with brands to create impactful marketing programmes which meet business or organisational objectives, using creative approaches to ensure excellent ROI.
Nathalie holds a BA in Communications and a certificate in Direct and E-Marketing from the IDM, she is also currently studying towards a level 6 diploma in Digital Marketing.
Jude McCorry – CEO of the Scottish Business Resilience Centre. SBRC is a unique organisation comprising contributions and secondments from Police Scotland, Scottish Government, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, major banks, industries, investors and private membership. SBRC provides members with a wide ranging one stop shop for business security services and advice. Uniquely placed to act as an advocate for commerce across Scotland, SBRC aims to be an independent voice for its members. Ultimately the goal is to create a safer Scotland in which to thrive, live and do business.
Jude has over 20 years’ experience in the Technology sector and started her career with Dell computers in Ireland. She joined SBRC in April 2020 from The Data Lab where she was Director of Business Development working with industry and academia to maximise the value of data for Scotland. She is one of the founders of the UNICEF Data Hub for Children, she also sits on the board of the Edinburgh Data Driven Innovation Hub at Edinburgh University.
Jude is very passionate about data for good and also inspiring the next generation into Cyber and technology – particularly looking at female participation.
