Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 October

C2ES, Resilience First, and Resilience Rising are hosting a private virtual roundtable convening on the Drivers and Vision for Corporate Climate Resilience Leadership, taking place on 18th and 19th October 2023.

This virtual session follows the launch of our Corporate Climate Resilience Leadership initiative at New York Climate Week, and will introduce key stakeholders to the initiative’s goal and objectives and provide a forum to share insights around the current and future drivers of climate resilience action in the private sector. Participants will be invited to preview and provide comment on a first draft of ‘Principles for Corporate Climate Resilience Leadership’, to be presented at COP28. A detailed agenda will be shared closer to session date.

To allow colleagues from across time zones to contribute to the discussion, we are offering two options for this session.

(Option A) Wednesday, October 18th: 1:30pm – 3:00pm BST / 8:30am – 10:00am ET

OR

(Option B): Thursday, October 19th: 3:30pm – 5:00pm BST / 10:30am – 12:00pm ET

Aimed at mid-senior sustainability, risk, strategy and climate professionals from across all sectors this is the first in a series of carefully curated virtual discussions to engage business leaders, understand their needs, and to build a business case for investing in resilience across industry sectors. Findings from these sessions will be synthesised into a position paper, to be launched in Q1 2024.
